French Studio pottery bottle vase by Charles Audoin
This
bottle vase, finely decorated with deep inscribed ribs and painted spots,
was made by Charles Audoin at his
pottery in Bardenac near Chalais, Charente, France in 1990.
He produced high quality work in his La Grave studio from 1977 until he retired from potting in 2002, Condition:
This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks. It
bears his painted distinctive personal mark on the base. RESERVED
If

and is regarded as one of the finest of France's craft studio
potters of the 20th century.

Widest diameter just over 5 inches/13cm.
He also sometimes signed his work with his signature in sgraffito.
