Decorated Studio Cylinder Vase

This
painted earthenware cylinder vase was thrown by Christopher Elliott,
and decorated by Judith Bordt at their studio in the beautiful rugged countryside of
Gers in south west France.
Totally contemporary, very colourful,
very tactile with its intriguing abstract design around the body.
This is an alchemical mixture of the modern American craftsman (Elliott was born in California),
and the passionate German expressionist (Bordt was born in Berlin).
Their joint EB mark (if that is what it is) can clearly be seen underneath.
Condition: This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks.
