Covered Lustre Box by Margery Clinton

     

This covered lustre box was made by Margery Clinton at The Pottery, East Lothian

Her personal mark underneath is very clear,
along with the exact date of manufacture - 16th December 1981.

Margery Clinton has her work in many private and public collections
including HRH Duke of Edinburgh, The V&A, The Tate, The Royal Scottish Museum,
Glasgow Museum, and Aberdeen Museum.
She wrote the book "Lustres" published by Batsford in 1991.
She is a Member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen,
and a Fellow of the Craftsmen Potters Association.

Condition: This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks,
Dimensions: just under 2.5 inches high/6cm high.
