Altered Stoneware Vase from Dartington Pottery

This altered stoneware vase was made at Dartington Pottery,
Shinners Bridge, Totnes, Devon.

The shape and painted style reminds me of Janice Tchalenko,
it is their beautiful Delphinium pattern.

Conceived in 1972 by David Leach, Dartington Pottery (also known as Dart Pottery)
became a community workshop for many young eager potters. Marianne de Trey
worked there until the early 1980's. Janice Tchalenko also added her
innovative designs and dedication to the expert work of Sue Cook, Stephen Course,
and Tavs Jorgensen.

The Dartington Pottery mark can clearly be seen on the base.

This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks.
Dimensions: just over 5 inches high/13cm high.
Widest diameter: just over 4.25 inches/11cm.
