Studio pottery Lamp Base by John Egerton

This large lamp base was made by John Egerton at
Sneaton Pottery, Whitby, Yorkshire.

His personal mark "JE" can be clearly seen.
He has also incised the year "87" which is a little more difficult to see
from the above photograph but is to the right of his mark.
He has been potting since 1965 and has become progressively in demand.

Condition: This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks.
Dimensions: 9.75 inches high/25cm high
Widest diameter 6 inches/153mm.
