Stoneware Chawan by Ray Finch

This superb stoneware Chawan, or teabowl, was made by Ray Finch
at Winchcombe Pottery.

This is considered to be a new break-away investigation into things other than
classic english shapes that Ray Finch has spent producing over the last 60 years.
However, it is typical of his adventurous and extremely inquistive mind
... even at 93 his experiments continue to flow from the kiln.

His personal mark, the Pottery mark plus his dot, can clearly be seen on the base.

This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks.
just under 3 inches high/72mm high.
Widest diameter: just under 4 inches/112mm
.
