Don Glanville Studio pottery Lamp Base

Don Glanville made this fine large lamp base at
his studio in Settle, North Yorkshire.

This is a beautifully thrown piece,
with fine tenmoku glaze work around the top.
In my view this stands very well purely as a decorative vase.

His personal stamped mark "DG" can just be seen below the drilled hole for the lamp wire.
He has been potting since 1977 and has become progressively in demand.

Condition: This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks.
