Painted bowl from Hartley's of Castleford




This stoneware painted bowl was made at Hartley's of Castleford,
West Yorkshire. It is part of their range called Hartrox Stoneware.
Hartley's ran from 1953 intil 1960.
The stamp says "HARTROX STONEWARE ENGLAND" and next to it are painted letters,
plus what I believe is an unidentifiable painters mark.
This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks,
2.25 inches high/55mm high.
Widest diameter: just under 6 inches/15cm.
