Studio pottery spherical vase by David Heminsley

This spherical stoneware vase was made by David Heminsley probably at
the Balbarnie Craft Centre, Fife, Scotland sometime between 1973-93.

David Heminsley began his potting career, sometime before 1962,
apprenticed to Harry Davis of Crowan Pottery in Cornwall,
and then with George Cook while he was at Ambleside Pottery before 1967.

Sadly He passed away on 4th March 2007 at the age of 79.

Condition: This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks.
Dimensions: 3 inches high/76mm high
Diameter 4.5inches/115mm.

It bears his distinctive personal mark "D.H." underneath.
