Tall Studio Pottery Bottle Vase by Eddie Hopkins

This tall stoneware bottle vase was made by Eddie Hopkins
at Winchcombe Pottery.

Eddie Hopkins began his potting career learning to throw at Prinknash Abbey
between 1957-69. Then he moved on to acquire the classic english forms
from the Fishley Holland family at Clevedon, Somerset. In 1971 he was
asked to join the team at Winchcombe Pottery where his
throwing skills soon became legendry among past and present colleagues.
Although he retired in 2006 he still throws two days a week.

His personal "EH" mark (a metal carpenters stamp inherited from his grandfather)
and the Winchcombe mark can clearly be seen at the base.

Condition: This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks,
