Covered Jam Pot by Glynn Hugo
This stoneware covered jam pot was made by Glynn Hugo
at his studio pottery in Darsham, Suffolk.
The glaze and markings are excellent.
Glynn Hugo started potting in 1963 in Burton-on-Trent.
He then opened up the Studio Pottery in Suffolk, and is still producing
domesticware and sculptural individual pieces.
His personal mark "Hugo" can be clearly seen
on the rim of the base.
This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks,
4 inches high/10cm high.
Widest diameter: 3.25 inches/85mm.
