Studio 'Bomb' Vase by Hugh McKee Brisbane Pottery

This white earthenware 'bomb' vase was made by Hugh McKee
at Brisbane Pottery in Largs, Scotland in 1964.
He applied a number of oxide glazes before firing.
He ran his pottery from 1962-65, and his sister Mae usually did the paint work,
but he assured me that this particular pot (which he distinctly remembered producing)
was thrown and painted by him.
His pottery mark can clearly be seen underneath.
