Studio Pottery vase by June Mullarkey

This stoneware vase was made by June Mullarkey
at Dersingham Pottery in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

June Mullarkey started Dersingham Pottery in 1972.
Up until 1980 she worked with local iron-bearing clay, then from that
year onwards she began to experiment with different types of glazes
- including reduction reds, pinks, celadons,
barium turquoise, crackle glazes, and gold lustres.
The important thing to note here is that
she marked all her one-off pieces with her initials.

Her personal mark "jm" and the Dersingham Pottery mark
can clearly be seen on the base.

This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks,
3.5 inches high/9cm high.
Widest diameter: 4.5 inches/12cm.
