Small copper and tenmoku glazed pot

This small stoneware pot, with a copper glaze over tenmoku,
has been beautifully made by Denise Pürro at
Ceramiques d'Aubarines in Rochgude, Southern France.
Denise Pürro has been potting since 1985 and
her work now reveals an inspiring confidence in the pure and simple form.
I am reminded, when I see her ceramics, of the many talented
european potters such as Michael Anderson, Arne Bang, and Fantoni.
Her personal mark "PÜRRO" can
be clearly seen on the base.
This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks,
2.75 inches high/7cm high.
Widest diameter: 3.5 inches/9cm.
