Studio Pottery Vase by Leonard Stockley
This earthenware vase was made by Leonard Stockley
in his Weymouth studio possibly in the 60's or 70's.
Very little is known about this potter other than he produces
domestic pieces
and decorates them with slip and sgraffito.
His personal mark "L Stockley Weymouth" plus a possible
style number "3"
can clearly be seen at the base.
This is in excellent condition - no scratches, chips, or cracks,
