Sale of Work

The following Terms and Conditions must be agreed between Thrownclay ("the Seller"),
and the Buyer of Ceramic Work(s) ("the Buyer") before a Work may be sold.
These terms and conditions will use the term "Work(s)" for all Ceramic Work sold by Thrownclay,
the images of which being found on www.thrownclay.co.uk, and "The Website" for the website address http://www.thrownclay.co.uk

1. General
The Seller makes the following representations and warranties that the Works:
a. are solely owned by the Seller, neither borrowed or stolen from, nor owned in part or in full by, any other party;
b. are free and clear of all security interests, liens and other claims;
c. The Seller has full rights and powers of sale and transfer, there is no judgment outstanding against the Seller.
d. The Seller will sell and ship Works to anywhere in the World.
e. These Terms and Conditions may be changed without notice.

2. Before purchasing Works
a. The Buyer, or any person authorised by the Buyer may view the Work(s) firsthand at any time agreed
by the Seller and the Buyer, prior to any purchase. This is not a requirement but the Seller strongly recommends this for the sake of a satisfactory transaction.
b. A Work(s) will be deemed sold once the Buyer has agreed to purchase it and has submitted payment in full.
c. The Buyer must check that the descriptions of the Work(s) found on the The Website meet with their requirements before purchasing ie: images, descriptions, dimensions, marks, condition.

3. Purchasing Works
a. All Works may be purchased by cheque, by cash, by electronic transfer, by PayPal.
Using a debit/credit card

By Cheque
f. The Buyer agrees to notify the Seller by email or phone that they intend to pay by cheque.
g. All cheques are to be made out to "Glazam" which is the name of the Seller's trading company.
h. The Buyer agrees to inform the Seller if they intend to make a purchase by cheque in any currency other than GB Pounds, in which case the current exchange rate fee will be incurred.
i. No cheques in currencies other than GB Pounds which do not include the current exchange rate fee will be accepted by the Seller.
j. Cheques received by the Seller will take up to seven days to clear with the bank before the Work(s) can be released.
By Cash
k. The Seller accepts no responsibility for cash sent by mail.
l. If purchasing by cash in any other currency than GB Pounds the current exchange rate fee will be incurred.
m. No cash in currencies other than GB Pounds which do not include a current exchange rate fee will be accepted by the Seller.
By electronic bank transfer
n. The Buyer agrees to inform the Seller by email or phone that they wish to pay by bank transfer.
o. The Seller agrees then to send the relevant details to the Buyer by email.
p. If purchasing by electronic bank transfer in any other currency than GB Pounds the current exchange rate fee will be incurred.
q. No transfer in currencies other than GB Pounds which do not include a current exchange rate fee will be accepted by the Seller.
By PayPal
r. The Buyer agrees to notify the Seller by email or phone if they intend to make a purchase by PayPal.
s. The Seller then agrees to send a link to PayPal's "Buy Now" button specifically for the transaction.
t. If purchasing Work valued over 2000 US Dollars by PayPal the Buyer must have a PayPal account.
u. If using PayPal the Buyer may pay in US Dollars, GB Pounds, Euros, or Yen.
v. The Seller agrees not to charge any exchange fees or any other PayPal fees to the Buyer.
By instalments
w. Purchase can be made by instalments at no extra cost.
x. The Work will stay in the Sellers possession and the Seller will remain the owner of the Work(s) until the purchase price has been paid in full, after which time the Work(s) will be released.
Shipping and Insurance
y. Shipping and insurance of all Works is included in the purchase price for all sales within the United Kingdom.
z. Shipping and insurance of all Works is excluded in the purchase price for all sales outside the United Kingdom, the cost of each inidividual packaged Works will be mutually agreed prior to any movement of the Works.

4. Delivery, and delivery timing, of Works
The Seller agrees that deliveries shall be handled as follows:
a. All Work(s) shall be packaged and shipped in accordance with the Buyers specifications, or to shipping industry standards for items shipped.
b. The Seller shall be responsible for damage to Work(s) caused from improperly packaging of item.
c. Shipping shall be done using shipping methods that provide for tracking and require a signature.
d. From the time the Seller's Bank has cleared monies paid for purchasing Work(s) in full, to the time the Buyer has received and signed for the packaged Work(s), up to seven working days will be considered as acceptable within the UK.
e. Any Work(s) to be shipped outside the UK will first be mutually agreed by the Seller and the Buyer specific to the individual country. Agreed times will be in accordance with usual shipping industry standard transit times.

5. Returning Works
The Seller agrees that returns shall be handled as follows:
a. The Buyer may return Work(s) for any reason whatsoever within the period of, and including, ten days from the day the Work(s) is delivered to an address specified by the Buyer, and signed for by whomsoever receives the packaged Work(s).
b. Any Work(s) to be returned must be packaged using the same packaging material the Work(s) was delivered in, unless the packaging was received by the Buyer, or representative of the Buyer, in a damaged and unusable condition. In which case the buyer will repack the Work(s) using packaging similar to the original packaging.
c. The Buyer and the Seller will agree as to which method of delivery service will be used to return the Work(s). Once an agreement has been made then the Seller and the Buyer will take immediate action necessary to carry out the return delivery.
d. Once the Work(s) has been received by the Seller, the Seller will inspect the packaging and the Work(s).
e. The Seller will not refund any money for Work(s) returned to the Seller damaged because of inadequate packaging.
f. The Seller agrees to refund in full any money for Work(s) returned to the Seller in the same condition as it was originally sent, the Work(s) being without any scratches, cracks, marks of any sort, or chips to the Work(s).
g . The Buyer may return Work(s) if it has been damaged during transportation from the Seller directly to the Buyer, or to an address agreed by the Buyer and the Seller, in which case the Buyer will inform the Seller immediately on receipt of any damaged Work(s), and will make immediate arrangements for the Work(s) to be returned to the Seller. The Buyer will ensure that the Work(s) is packed and shipped to the Sellers requirements.
c. The Seller will pay for the return of the damaged Work(s), and will refund the Buyer the total amount of the Work(s).
